According to the Social Security Administration here are the stats for the popularity of the male first name Paul for boys born in every year since 1990:

Now according to the US Census Bureau in the 1990 census Paul was the 13th most common name with 0.948% of the sample population having that name.

Ok with that many Paul’s and it’s declining popularity over the last 15 years I think it’s time to recognise the pick of the crop.
